Roaches can be found in clean houses, as well as dirty ones, but they are more likely to enter when plenty of food and crumbs are available.   • Use an insecticide to control the population. Insecticides that are labeled for cockroaches come in both liquids and aerosols. Treat around infested harborages indoors and apply a residual around the perimeter of your home.
